Love In Bloom

We’re headed for April – time goes by so fast! Spring and Summer are wedding bonanza times, and I’m guessing there are quite a few brides out there in the most hectic planning and organizing phase before the Big Day!

Today, i’m showing some Spring Wedding Inspiration – we’re headed for such a lovely time of year, and the most wonderful time to get married: everything is coming to life, and blooming – much like the love you and your special someone have for each other!

Inspiration board with a sweet Spring feeling! I love Baby’s Breath – it gives such a light feeling. By using green as a theme colour in your wedding, the Spring feeling gets even more defined. I think green and white is a fresh and clean combination!

And now  I’m hooked! Too bad I didn’t use Pinterest when we got married – it would be the perfect way to organize all of my wedding inspiration.

I’m updating my Pinterest account basically every day, so check out my Pinterest account for even more weddings, party inspiration, and basically everything I love! You can also use the link on the right side here on the blog!

And please give me your best Pinterest tips – who do YOU follow?

Here are some of my favourites from last week:

1: Cute pastel Easter cake pops! Wouldn’t this be gorgeous on the dessert table for your Easter Brunch?

2: The most excited and cute Flower Girl with the sweetest sign!

3: Baking birthday party! This would be so cool for kids aged 5-8?

4: What a lovely idea for a first birthday!

5: Rocking horse cakes! So sweet! Would be great for both a baby shower, a sip and see, and a first birthday

Decorated Easter Eggs

We’re closing up on Easter, and it’s about time to start planning for your decorations. I remember when my sister and I was younger, we used to decorate Easter eggs together with our mother, and I this that was such a nice tradition! I can’t wait to do this together with my baby girl – although it’s probably a few years into the future.

Today I’m showing some really cool Easter egg decorating inspiration:

First, for those who want a glamorous Easter…

Spray paint Easter eggs with metallic colour or with glitter paint. For extra sparkle, wait until paint has dried, then add glue, and roll in glitter.

The colourful eggs are painted in desired colour, and then leaf gold is added.

For the modernist…

These decorations are so simple to make! You just draw with a marker directly on the egg! Decorate in whatever pattern you like!

And, last but not least – washi tape decorated eggs…

Washi tape is purely genious! You can use it for almost anything! Find your favourite pattern, and simply tape it on the egg!
