Guess how much I love you

The children´s book “Guess how much I love you” is a huge favourite of mine, and it was the first book that my mother bought for my daughter – the first book she ever got – while she was still in my belly. I remember feeling so emotional when I read it (still pregnant, and with my hormones all over the place), and I imagined how wonderful it would be to read it for my child.

If you´re not familiar with the book, you can read about it here.

On one of my inspirational tours around the internet, I found this adorable theme! It´s a “Guess how much I love you” party, and it´s just too cute!

It could work well as a baby shower theme as well – it´s also suitable if you don´t know the gender of the baby, since the colors are “gender neutral”. Also, it would make an adorable Easter party!

This pretty cake is simply stunning, and really pulls the party together!

Sweet cookies! In this particular party, it was for a little girl turning one, but I think it works just as good for a toddler, and also for a boy!

Wrapping the chocolate is a great effect – I think it would be the perfect guest favor!

Snow Princess Birthday Party

My little princess in born in early Spring, so unfortunately this will not be the theme for her upcoming second birthday. However, I’m completely in love with the styling of this theme, which I saw at Hostess with the Mostess. The colour scheme of white, silver, grey, pink and hints of yellow is perfection,  and the details are just completely magical!

I fell in love with this cooler-than-life party featured on Amy Atlas! Whether it’s for your little one or for Father’s Day (which is coming up soon – check out this post for more tips), it has to be every guy’s dream theme! No pastels, butteflies, glitter or tulle in sight! This is definately a macho theme for a party! I love it!

Little Lamb first birthday party

Yes, these days I’m sort of obsessed with first birthday parties. But my very own little baby girl is turning one – in just a few days. Of course, this will be celebrated in style – and I’ll share the party pictures with you!

But, today I’ll share another party with you – one that I’ve had in my inspiration folder for some time. And this party is so well executed that it makes me want to cry a little (no, not really, or…. yes…actually it does), because I realize that this amount of detail is an enormous undertaking! Perhaps I’ll aim at something a bit simpler for my daughters party, but I’m definately inspired! It’s simply stunning! Here’s the gorgeous Little Lamb party from Half Baked:

I love the colour scheme in the wonderful neutrals. I feel it gives the party a sophisticated feel, while it’s still a child’s birthday

I think it was a great idea to play on the colours that’s in the interior of the house. That way, you get a visual impression that is chic and put together!

Love the wine bottles in their knitted sweaters!

The sweet little lamb is used throughout the theme, together with fluffy, cuddly, and soft materials to really highligt the feel of the party.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s Birthday Party

My little princess is 10 months tomorrow! Where did the time go? I’m loving my days at home together with her, and in only one short month I’m going back to work. All day without my baby girl – how will that feel?It will be a new phase in out lives! My baby is growing up! She’s soon turning 1 year, and that must be celebrated. I’m still searching for the theme, and today I stumbled upon the most adorable theme for a little lady:
